***   Ohio Primary Election Update   ***
The ONLY way to vote in Ohio’s primary election, if you did not already vote early, is to request an Absentee Ballot. In Summit County, go to get Absentee Ballot. Complete, sign and mail in the Application for Absentee Ballot.

Once you receive your Absentee Ballot, complete it and send it back. Ballots must be postmarked by April 27 or dropped off to the Summit County Board of Elections by 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, vote count day.

Mail can take time, so don’t delay! Send in your Application today!


Where to Vote
  • Check the Polling Place Lookup for your regular polling place. Also check the Summit County Board of Elections for primaries where polling places may be more restricted than for the general elections.
  • Absentee Ballots - See the Ohio State Board of Elections for qualifications and deadlines for absentee ballots, and the Summit County Board of Elections to download an application for an absentee ballot.
